We had the opportunity to travel to Nashville with Matt since he had to go for business. On the way down, we happened to see a Corvette Museum. Matt had to stop in! He had fun picking out what model he would some day like to restore. They were having "mini-corvette" racing challenges outside, which Braden thought was pretty great!
We arrived in Nashville, got settled in and went to find some dinner. We were by Vanderbilt University, a college town that slightly reminded me of Yellow Springs. There were lots of open air cafes, so after our rainy spring, the sunshine and 80 degrees felt fantastic!
We ate chicken fingers and fries, and got free ice cream afterwards. You can't get any better than that!
After dinner we walked down to Centennial Park.
They were having an arts festival, so we looked around and Maddie got to see a potter using the pottery wheel. She has always wanted to try this!
At Centennial Park, they have a replica of the Parthenon. This was the place to get pictures taken! There were families, proms, and weddings being photographed at just about every angle.
