One of our favorite Christmas traditions is making gingerbread houses with friends. This was our 4th year and each year they get better. Our "glue" has gone from royal icing to melted sugar, but this year I think we hit the jackpot....melted chocolate! The chocolate "glue" set quickly and tastes absolutely fantastic!
The houses looked great. The new thing this year was making a campfire out of tootsie rolls and orange/yellow gumdrops. They've already got their requests in for their ideas for next year!
