This morning, we woke up to snow! It was definitely a blustery day. Kinslee was so excited about it, she woke up before 6AM to see it and ended up waking Maddie up at 7AM so they could celebrate together.
Kinslee got done with school work quickly. She played outside for about 20 minutes, then came inside to wait patiently for the others to get done with their school.
Unfortunately, by the time they were done, the snow had pretty much melted. Braden and Kinslee did find enough to load up the wagon and make the wet, slushy snow into a huge ice brick.
I also thought it was very cool that our science experiment for the day called for snow. When I was preparing last week, I thought, "Hmmm...no way will there be snow next week!" The name for God that we are learning for the week is "Jehovah-Jireh", God provides, and He definitely provided snow for us yesterday!
It's hard to believe that just 5 days ago we were out in 80 degree weather with friends at a pumpkin farm, in shorts!
The girls inspecting the pumpkin for bugs.
The crew with their treasures!
Thankful for the beauty of snow, the warmth of sunshine, good friends, and God's provisions for us!
