Day 2

First of all, let me apologize if I repeat over and over again the things we really liked or didn't like.  I forget from day to day what I say!

One of our favorite parts of the trip was watching the sunrise.  When we woke up the second morning and walked out on deck, we were definitely in Caribbean waters and breathing Caribbean air.  It was warm, and the water was such a beautiful blue.  The sunrise this Tuesday morning was beautiful.  Not many people are up this time of day, so the ship is quiet and peaceful. Matt and I would leave the kids to sleep in and we'd sneak out to get coffee and watch the sun come up!

Once the sun was up, we would go back to the room and have the kids get ready.  If we had time before breakfast, we'd take them up to get some hot chocolate.  The coffee and hot chocolate machines were amazing. We completely got spoiled!
We'd get dressed for the day in our swimsuits and cover ups and head to the sunshine as soon as breakfast was over.
This is how we spent a lot of our time!
The lobby of the ship was pretty amazing. It was 5 or 6 floors high, with glass elevators. This picture was taken from the top floor.
This was the only day that we really spent time at the little pool. You had to get your pool time in early before the majority of the ship woke up. Once 11 AM hit, the pool area was super busy and we were ready to find somewhere quieter.

My favorite spot on the ship was looking out the back end and watching our water trail.  Watching the water swirl was like watching a fire. Mesmerizing!  And look at that color!
Spending time on the deck as we waited for dinnertime.
Maddie adores her Daddy! I love it!
All of the crew on the ship were so friendly.  They kept offering to take our pictures.

Dinner was one of our best memories of the trip. It was fun to sit down and recap the day with our friends.  Before they served dessert, they'd do a little 5 minute or so entertainment show.  The maitre d' would sing for us. Then they'd do a silly song where the servers danced.  Some of them really got into it, and other serves looked like they'd rather be doing anything else than dancing to a silly song!
The servers went over and above, making sure you were happy with your meal. There was one time when the our server heard us teasing Maddie about how she'd choose (Dad or Mom) to finish her dessert.  He brought her an extra dessert so she wouldn't have to choose! And another night they brought about 2 extra pieces of cheesecake out...just because! How's that for service? And no...we didn't have any problem finishing them.

I loved that we could try eating things that we'd never order at a home restaurant.  We all tried shark, alligator, frog legs and various other seafood that I never care to try again!
