Christmas 2014 goes down in history as one of our quietest Christmases ever. We spent the Christmas weekend at home. After a very busy few weeks leading up to the big day, we were thankful for 4 days of relaxation together. And we stayed healthy!
Christmas morning was very early. Braden woke up at 4:30ish and was ready to go. By 6am, everyone was up and by 7am, presents were opened. We would've made them wait a little longer normally, but we were headed to mom and dad Clark's for the morning. No torturing them by making them wait this year!
Josie loves Christmas presents. She thought every one of the kids stocking stuffers should be for her. Let's just say that she got way more presents than any dog should get this Christmas.
This was a hunting/outdoorsy Christmas for Braden. Waders, nice boots, and cold weather gear. I love that he wanted practical gifts that he needed. One of his fun gifts was about 9 GI Joe men that we found an awesome deal on. He was so.excited. I'm actually not sure who was more excited, him or Matt and I for the great deal!
Maddie wanted clothes for Christmas this year. And a purse with fringe. Matt found her the perfect leather purse at Marshalls. With fringe. Maddie loves it, mostly because her daddy picked it out for her.
Kinslee got a hodge podge of gifts this year. Her main love is Lego friends. We also got her an apron with her name so she's ready to help us more with Tastes of Lizzy T.
After Christmas morning at our house we headed to grandma and grandpa's. A delicious breakfast with friend potatoes and cinnamon rolls was served.
Uncle Brian found standing jewelry chests for the girls from Goodwill and fixed them up nicely. Now they have their own and won't use mine. :)
Maddie's "Official Clark Running Hat", for the dark mornings when they run with Grandpa.
More Lego friends...
Cousins!
It was a relaxing morning! We came home and took naps. The perfect Christmas day.
