Washington DC Day 2

Although I probably could have just vegged in the hotel room all day, we decided to head out to walk through Georgetown. It was cool in the morning, but by the time we were heading home it was 58 and nearly sunny. The street musicians were out. I love walking city streets in good weather and seeing the city come to life! The past few times we were here it was either cold or sweltering. That made the weather today nearly perfect.
Lunch at Johnny Rockets. Not my first choice, but it wasn't worth the brain power of finding another place.
Afterwards we walked at Washington Harbour, which would be really fun to visit when it was warmer and flowers were blooming. It looks like it's the place to be!

The kids earned a treat during the past few weeks for doing well in school. They chose Starbucks caramel macchiatos.
The rest of our trip was pretty uneventful since Kinslee ended up with the stomach flu. We did a lot of lounging and movie watching!
