Our weeknights have been filled with soccer for a few weeks now. That is coming to an end. Although I like going to see the kids play soccer, this mom is glad that we will have more time on our hands in just one week!
Our soccer season was not the best this year, but the kids enjoyed spending time with friends during the games and practices.
Braden is an animal. He has no fear! We've said many times that maybe he should be playing football. At the game last night, he took out their best player. I was worried Braden had really hurt him, but he ended up OK thankfully. This year we worked with him on staying engaged & focused throughout the whole game. We thought he played his best in his last game last night & were proud of him!
Maddie loves soccer and always asks us after each game what our thoughts were. She desperately wants to please the coach and wants to improve. She scored a goal in the first game and was so pumped. The season kind of went downhill from there, but for the most part she had fun!
Kinslee was out on the soccer field purely for social interaction. Many games the coach put Kinslee and her friend together in a certain position. Why she did this, I don't know, because the two little girls had such a hard time focusing. But they were having fun goofing off together!
We get a 2 month break before basketball starts up. I'm thankful that is just one schedule to follow!
