Our first day of true vacation was spent at the Magic Kingdom. This park never disappoints! The new Fantasyland grand opening was on Thursday. Although we really wanted to see this new section, the thought of the crowds that would be there made us decide to do the park on Wednesday and miss out on the new sights.
When we got there, though, we realized that the new Fantasyland was open for a press event. Camera crews and news reporters were everywhere, but at least it was open and we got to do and see most of the new section without all of the crowds! We basically walked on most of the rides. The longest we had to wait was 15 minutes for Splash Mountain, and we ended up getting through the whole park by 5 PM!

Kinslee does not remember our last trip to Disney and since this trip was a surprise, I don't think she had thought much about meeting the princesses. To see the look on her face was great! She was so excited, and Maddie was still excited about seeing them, too!
Huge smiles for meeting Rapunzel:) She was Maddie and Kinslee's favorite. Rapunzel talked with Braden and called him "Brady" to tease him, which humiliated Braden!
