Sketching

Maddie has always been interested in art. When we were at Disney, she saw a sketchbook that she really wanted, but it would have taken over her allowed spending total.  After finding it for much cheaper on Amazon, we gave it to Grandma as a gift idea.  Maddie was so surprised to open this!

This is a book without hardly a word, but full of pencil sketches of all of the Disney characters.

Maddie used a bit of her Disney money and bought a plain sketchbook and started sketching characters.  

First, Pooh....

This is actually her second sketch of Pooh, the first one, just on notebook paper, was actually much better than this. She wasn't as happy with this picture.

Then Simba.

She did a great job for her first two drawings! I'm hoping she continues to work on this talent of hers!
