Last week, the boys went on a backpacking trip. They headed out with some friends on Thursday night, hiked to their campsite, slept in the wild, and hiked back the next day. They had so much fun! Braden thought it was great. He had so much fun running around the woods with his buddy, Isaac. They made some good memories and both got some type of poison oak or something. Isn't that what makes a good camping trip, after all?
We girls had a good time together. We fixed ourselves a yummy dinner, watched a movie together, and had lunch with Sarah, Rylie & Avery.
We went out to a couple garage sales Friday morning. We haven't been to many this year, either because of travelling, or bad weather, but Friday was a perfect day! Kinslee found The Daring Book for Girls for 25 cents and it was probably the best quarter I ever spent.
She spent the whole weekend poring over all of the different things in this book. She learned how to tie a knot, made an art store stand with all of her colored pictures, played hopscotch,
Got together a Daring Girl Kit with all the supplies an adventurous girl would need. She even added a Swiss Army knife to her birthday list!
And this is how I found her Saturday afternoon. She rolled around the house all afternoon, dressed as Belle, in roller skates!
Love this little girl and her free spirit!
We're gearing up for her birthday sleepover Thursday night with 3 of her little friends. Good times:)
Enjoy having one that still likes to dress up in her princess clothes! She's growing up so fast that she won't do it much longer. Love you, Kinslee!
ReplyDeleteThis is so wonderful! Hearing all of your stories makes me excited to have Bella and Evelyn in this stage! Love this little girl's spirit!
