Since we would not be at home for Christmas Eve, we decided to have a special night on the eve of Christmas Eve so the kids could open their Christmas jammies and games.
We haven't had a Lizzy T's Bistro dinner since...well, since we started food blogging! So we took the time to fix one of Matt's favorite dinners of lasagna, salad, and garlic bread.
Braden even pulled out the classic Lizzy T's sign and hung it up:)
We surprised Matt with a Red Velvet Cheesecake. This cake was simply amazing. Two layers of red velvet cake with a cheesecake layer in the middle and cream cheese frosting on the outside. The pictures don't do it justice, but this cake was huge. For about two days, we ate this cake for breakfast and lunch and really hardly made a dent in it. We took it to two family get-togethers and ended up leaving it at the last one because I needed it to be out of the house.
