Swimming!

Even though it has been cool this summer, we've been able to swimming several times! Each Thursday, a church family opens up their beautiful pool to anyone who wants to swim. We were gone the whole first part of the summer for this, but we're making up for it and have been squeezing in our Thursday swims the past few weeks.  It's too cold for me to get in, but the kids have a blast!

We've done about 4 days of school over the past few weeks.  Next week our goal is to do 3 days. We're adding writing in next week, which will leave only science, history and reading to add. Science will be the next addition since history is new this year and scares me a little.  They're all doing their own history which means more work for me, but I think it will be great once we get the hang of it.

I love that we can slowly work our way into school and still have fun doing summer stuff at the same time!
