All three kids participated in our church musical this year. Matt and I were lazy and stayed behind the scenes. Our main job was watching nursery kids.
Maddie sang in the choir, Braden had a small speaking part and sang in the kids' choir, and Kinslee and three of her friends were the narrators.
They all three did a great job! Kinslee loves being on stage. Everyone was surprised at how she seemed to come to life on stage. She's a very quiet girl at church, so no one was expecting her to do much acting. And the fact that she and her friends got to show some attitude was cute, too!
It was a long day for everyone and Kinslee had had enough by the end of the day. The girls missed one of their last parts because of some miscommunication with the stage managers. Kinslee was devastated by this, but after a good night's sleep was able to let it go.
We were proud of them all!
