I took my big girl camera to the track last night and snapped some pictures of Maddie running. It was a good time to do it since I could get right next to the track. And she PR'd with her mile last night...a 6:23!
Maddie in the lead on the 800. Her BFF Emily is just a few steps behind. They push each other to run harder. Although they are both way too nice and want the other one to win!
Maddie won both the mile and the 800 race last night.
The got second place on their 4x400 relay, but ended up getting disqualified because of a bad hand-off. The girls were upset, but better to learn the exact rules in junior high than in high school.
