The New Year

I'm not doing so hot with the blogging this new year.  Normally January means slowing down for us, but this January is not so! Actually, until the end of February we have quite a bit going on.  There are many good things that we are looking forward to, but wow, it is going to be busy and fly by!

We so enjoyed Matt being home with us over Christmas and New Year's break.  It was hard on all of us for him to go back to his normal work schedule.  The kids and I have started back into schooling and the new year is moving along at a fast pace.  2nd quarter portfolios are due next week already...half way through the year!

We celebrated Braden's 9th birthday on Sunday.  His menu included pizza, pasta salad and pumpkin pie.

After church Sunday evening, we sat down and looked through Braden's baby book...what a cutie he was back then, but he's turning into a handsome young man and Matt and I are very thankful for him!

Hopefully now that I have done a "new year" post, I'll be able to get back into the blogging spirit.
