On the Hunt

We've been loving the summer weather this week!

Our garden is going in, flower beds are getting cleaned out...and best of all, school is getting shorter! The kids took their state testing this week and we are ready to wrap things up these next two weeks.

Our shed desperately needs cleaned out.  This will be one of the next projects.  

The mice have taken it over this winter and Braden is on the hunt to get all of the rodents out.

"Girls...I've got this!"

Soliciting Daddy's help.

We got traps that night and caught one.  Braden came running up to the house with the mouse in the trap and before I could say, "Don't bring it in the house!", he was standing inside the kitchen with a dead mouse hanging from a trap.

Nice!

Braden is getting to be quite the young man.  He mows...he weed-whips the grass...he fights the mice population...he chops wood...and all of his summertime freckles are coming out.  Yep...he's pretty much the total package! He's loving every minute of this warm weather!
